Really? Jul. 7th, 2006 @ 11:56 am
Am I a bad driver?  Am I stupid?  Am I retarded?  Do I just freak out when those instructors get in the car with their 5 foot thick clipboards!?  What is the problem here?!

I failed my 2nd driving test this morning.  But I am getting better, I guess.  I am no more a danger to the roads.  Now I just Don't obey traffic rules.  This time the lady was a bit thicker and hispanic.  Still didn't say anything other than "turn left", "turn right", and "straight".

"Well you did well, until you stopped at that green light and I failed you"
"I stopped at a green light?"
"Yea, it was red and you stopped, but it turned green in the middle of your stop and you continued to stop so I had to mark it."
"So if I stopped my stopped, I would have passed?"
"Looks like it."

So part two is completed in my CRITICAL DRIVING ERRORS! saga.

I am frusterated and mad.  I am the one taking the tests, so logically it is my fault that I am failing them.  I just don't know if I really am a bad driver of if i'm getting unlucky.

Well this time is as good as any to anounce my blog.

www.milkinator.blogspot.com

I told Amy that if she and Nathan went to my Shells of Vietnam premiere I would get one.  And everyone else is welcome!  It's going to be alot of fun.  Information here.

www.milkinator.blogspot.com

That's where I am at now.

Hit me up.

And cheer me up.

And go see Shells of Vietnam.

July 30, $5, great movie, good friends, superb acting.

Oh, one more thing.  Has anyone had trouble with the new Itunes?  Whenever I open it up it keep says error has occured and needs to shut down.  I'm saddened.

"You, sir, put my life in DANGER!" Jun. 19th, 2006 @ 02:19 pm
So I had my Driving test today.  I think I'm a pretty good driver.  I obey the speed limits, although some places are hard to determine if they are in fact residential or not.  I stop at stop signs, I turn when I'm supposed to.  I do have a habit of stopping to turn right at green lights that I have to work on.  But nothing major.

So right after I turn out of the DMV I am faced with this situation...
For those that don't know what is going on, I'll explain.  I'm in that bottom car.  I'm going forward.  I see a car backing up to park on the side of the road with those little car parking space line thingys.  The lane might fit both of us, but it would be tight.  There are two lanes on my side of the street.  And no cars were in the immediate area.

So in my mind I figured I would have to do one of the following in about 3 seconds.
1) Stop and wait for the car to finish it's parking.
2) Go to the left lane and pass it, checking behind me and all that jazz of course.
3) Stay in the same lane and try to not to scrape the side of the car.

I chose choice number 2 because it would have no risk of hitting the car, unless it shoots out into my lane, and I wouldn't have to wait or cause any traffic coming behind me to wait.

But apparently that is when I failed my driving test.  According to my instructor I should have done the following.
1)Stop
2)Honk the horn
3)Wait

"DIDN'T YOU SEE THAT CAR THAT WAS PARKING?!  YOU HAVE TO DO SOMETHING!!"
"I thought I did?"
Then she made me turn around and go back to the Bellflower DMV where she told me I put her, the parker, and my own life in danger when I did that.  She also said that I need to work on my right hand turns b/c they go into the correct lane but they are two wide and I accelerate while I turn which is a no-no.  Then she procceded to tell me, my mom, my permit, and me again that I have to wait 14 days for my next test(if you are wondering how she told my permit, she wrote it down while saying it and then underlining it).  I lasted about 3 minutes.  I'm going to the Bell Garden's DMV in two weeks.

I really think choice number 2 is the best.  Choice number 3?  Really?  It would cause more traffic, I'd be the one to blame, and there is a whole lane right next to me that is open!!

Gah.

Futher research proves another explanation...
masqueradexangel: was she white?
Yup2That: no
Yup2That: she was black
masqueradexangel: hahahaha
masqueradexangel: HAHAHAHAHA
masqueradexangel: the black lady never passes anyone
Yup2That: how do you know?
masqueradexangel: because i know tons of people whove had her and havent passed
Yup2That: frick
masqueradexangel: and they all know people who havent passed.
masqueradexangel: it's just her
masqueradexangel: apparently shes racist, i dont know though
Yup2That: why, all the people she doesn't pass are white?
masqueradexangel: yeah

I don't want to label her as a racist, but maybe she's just a super strict driver instructor that hates to change lanes.

And Trent-I still think you are under the impression that I had my liscene already.  I'm sorry that I lied to you for about a month, but it was too funny to pass up.  No hard feelings.  See, you got it before me, there are my just desserts.

Shells of Vietnam-Three Miles to Heaven

Hey People!  This is a video a bunch of friends and I have been working on for over a summer and it's finally done!  I'm a big character in it and I'd love to invite you all to the WORLDPREMIERE of SHELLS OF VIETNAM!!  It's a pretty awesome movie for a bunch of teenagers, so please come.  It's only $5 a seat, which is half the price of regular movies nowadays, to the whole program which includes behind the scenes and you can even see our first movie, which was horrible compared to this.  So I'm just asking ya'lls support.  Come on down, it's going to be a blast!  Spouses, Dating Partners, Friends, and Children(keep in mind it's rated PG-13 for violence and a little gore) are all welcome.
The movie itself is about one and a half hours but the whole progarm we have planned is 3 hours long, with refreshments.

I'm still thinking about getting a blogger.

FAQ:Are you going to kill any more characters?

JK Rowling: Yes. Sorry.

WHY!!!???!  NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

*Bangs head with Fat Max*

Well, I suppose it will make the book more interesting.

None of you can really realize how stoked I am for this book to come out.  I think I am more excited of this book than the Zelda game, and THAT'S pushing it!  Man!  I can't wait!!

I've already told Mike that I'd skip his wedding to read HP, and/or just bring the book and read through the ceremony.

I have it all planned out, when the date is confirmed I am going to cut off media intake for a week in advance, and end it when I finish the book.  I finished the last book within 24 hours and the book before that in 11 hours.

To all of you Potter Spoilers(Magen Humbert) out there, be warned!  I do have access to a .38 special!

PS: I've decided to update more often, to keep people happy, I hope...

I'm also thinking about switching to blogger...hmmmmm

AmyInAnaheim: you should definitely switch to a blog
Yup2That: give me 5 good reasons why
AmyInAnaheim: 1.  so i won't have to keep logging into lj to leave comments on your page.
AmyInAnaheim: 2.  so nathan doesn't have to keep putting www.theblarg.com in his comments
AmyInAnaheim: 3.  so you can put links to all your friends' blogs on your page
AmyInAnaheim: 4.  so you won't have to be the only person on lj anymore
AmyInAnaheim: 5.  so you can influence your husband siouxzen to switch to a blog too
Yup2That: Siouxie's still on lj

I do love Siouxzen.

Oh, decisions decisions....What do you think?

So many false parallels in this add, and false presuppositions.  Since when does marraige mean it must have been right?  I mean look at hollywood.  Those people get married every other day and then divorce.  That sound very good to me.

These days:
dating=sex
dating=love
love=sex
marriage=advanced dating

If you go into a marriage with a dating attitude, it's no wonder why there are so many divorces these days.  Marriage is a life time commitment, not just a decision to live with a person until you've had enough.  You've made a promise to yourself, your spouse, and most importantly God to cherish this person forever.

I've just been sick of all the stupid 'True Love' adds all over pages with half naked women.  It just doesn't attract me.

Slutty girls, go away and put some clothes on.  People will respect you more.
» Hi, Welcome to Subway! Can I please shoot myself?
So I got my job at subway. I've been working everday for a week, well i would be but I get Friday off b/c i'm having surgery(Aren't they nice?). » Truck, MUN, Subway
So I got that truck. It's mine. I own it. It is sweet. It is immaculate. Clean and nice. The only major things wrong with it are
a)Power locks don't work; Dunno what he did but they don't work anymore. $40 each for new power locks if I want them, maybe I'll just slide across the seat and unlock the old fashined way.
b)Interrior lights; Don't turn off like they should. I just unplugged them from their sockets. I'll have to figure out what to do with those later.

But all in all it was a very good buy. Worth it. And like Nathan said to be careful about buying used cars from shady people on Myspace, but we checked it out, it was good, so we bought it!
Once again, 98' Ford Ranger, 70k miles, $4000.

Now, MUN(Model United Nations) was very interesting. Over all it wasn't a very good conference. I've been to better. BUT!! This girl added some fun, in a very weird way, to it all. Day one randomly she ran over in the middle of someone's speech, rested her head on my shoulder and said, "Hey, what's your name?"
"Uh, Kevin."
"Awww, how nice!"
Then she ran back and sat with her country.
Next day, during an Unmoderated Cacaus(AKA: a break), "Heeeyy Sexyyy," and gives me a hug.
Next five minutes I recieve a note,"I'm a cocoa bean spining in a tree on the ground. I'm a nut, I'm a nut, I'm a nut, Don't you see!"
Response, "What have I done to deserve such affection? A song and a hug?"
She, "I HAVE RAGING HORMONES!! <3 Greece"
I, "I'm still confused..."
As she walks out of the room she hands me a note, "Well why don't you just come over here and kiss me. Then you wo'nt be so baffled..."
I, "No thanks. I'm not that easy. I would think we both have more self respect than that."

I think I offended her, she didn't talk to me anymore. Oh well. What do you think I should have done? If you do'nt believe me, I still have the notes if you want to see them.

Oh, and I got hired at subway. The one by Ralphs on Lakewood. I'm going for training tomorow. Come over and I'll make you a sandwich. I'm a master sandwich Artist!!
» Happy Mother's Day!
Krysti-"When you get your car we can have a road trip!!"
Me-"My fist is gonna have a road trip straight to your mouth"

My sister and I are sweet.

So sorry for the lack of updates, Amy said i should post, so i am. Ummmm. Thanks to all of you that come to my birthday party. It was probably the best birthday to date. So many cool things happened. And cool people came. It was awesome. Thanks all of you.

Car Rally was fun. My team lost by one minute. Bummer eh? Then we had a surprise party for Cory at his house. He got surprised. It was fun too. We watched some good movies all night.

So this is a really funny story. My dad was shopping for a truck for me, and he found some guy on myspace selling one for a good price. So my dad joins myspace to talk to him. My dad asks him about the truck. And this guy sends him a message back saying, "yo, wut up nee-gaa! You want sum look at my truk? Well just hit me up and ill send you sum pix. We can chill l8er and talk a'bou it." Yea. So then took alook at this guy's myspace. I swear he is like a druggie criminal or something. There is this guy that left him a comment saying, "YO!!! I remember you!! you and I used to do crime back in highschool!" And in his top eight he has those stupid porn girls. That's the gayest part. I mean, come on. You can't really expect people to think you really know them. Just like the people with 2492730987 friends. I mean really? Get a life. So my mom and my dad are going to look at the car at his house in South LA today. So pray for them that they don't get shot or anything. B/c that wouldn't be very cool. The dude also said that the 'truk' had some 'woofers' and 'aemps's'. So maybe i'll be cruising down the street with a full blast stero playing Material Girl by Madonna next time you see me.
So to make this long story short. My dad got a myspace and I might get a truck today. That's pretty much it. Ok. I'm going to Amy's party now.

Bye.
» Bloody Hell, It Did Work!
It appears that the Immigration March in Los Angeles was a success!

According to data from the Los Angeles County Sheriff, Los Angeles had a reduction in the following:

82% reduction - auto theft
28% reduction - murders/ violent crimes/ rapes
73% reduction - vandalism / tagging
54% reduction - drug related offenses (not including the area surrendering the march)
31% reduction - domestic violence cases
64% reduction - misdeameanor cases (shop lifting, etc)

CHP reported that today was a record low in the least amount of traffic
accidents on South CA freeways.
» So I trim the little branches on yo tree!! Just like Mr. Myagai...
So this birthday has been pretty nice. I spent the first half leading Peter around at the special olympics at Cal State Fullerton. It was cool. He didn't say one word but me and Cory steered him around to play baseball, shoot some hoops(which he was amazing at), kick a soccer ball around, and do some beanbag tossing. Finally at lunch we said goodbye to him and gave him a balloon sword. It was nice. Yes it was my birthday. I day alot of people usually plan to treat themselves. But serving others in God's name is what makes me happy. And it did make me happy, although I'm not sure if Peter was very thrilled. Like I said he didn't say a word and looked stern alot. But he did laugh at me and Cory a few times.

Then afterwards Cory, Tom, and I wandered around the mall aimlessly for a while, doing what we do best of course. Bumped into Shiloh, Sarah, and Jillian. Chatted with them for a bit. Turned off for home where I found about 12 happy birthday comments on myspace. And some are still coming. It has been a nice day. And I still get to see Mission Impossible: III. That'll be good, I hope. Andrew warned me about the "Humpty Dumpty line", whatever that is.

Thanks again for all of you who said happy birthday.
» Three pictures and a video
Well Kevin, I'm pretty sure I'm going to get a tux. I orginally wrote that to go dress shopping with my date. But I don't have a date anymore. But Jenn wants me to spread my search to perhaps get a skirt. That'll be seen in the pictures.

As promised to Nathan and Niall I will include pictures of the whiteboard periodically.

And even a close up for you that can't read the paper.

And then there is my thumb.  With 3 days of hammering nails, sawing, and cutting carpet i did not sustain a single injury.  Although, put me in charge of cutting the lettuce for dinner, I slice my thumb open.

That skin looking thing isn't the thumb.  It's this super cool band aid that is really flexible.  But if you could actually see it, a bit of the nail is cut off and there is a deep gash into the tip of the thumb.  Maybe Tammi will be so nice to post the picture of the wound she has.

Baby got book

This video is hilarous.  I really did laugh for 5 minutes straight.

"39 plus 27, equals 66 books!  And if you are Catholic, there's even more!"

» Beware, Mindless Teenage Rambling
Ok well I haven't updated in a while so I'm going to have one, with pictures!!  Yay!

Snogging is fun.

In other news three new CD's came out today that I really want. Hillsong United, Sanctus Real, and Hawk Nelson. I need some mula.
